Hey People. Pls reflect before u dash any phone. This phone like many others was not designed for any particular individual.
There are still people out there who don't care if a phone has a 12MPx camera or a VGA. I bought an N82 when it was released at premium price only to realise today that I only took a handful of pictures with it.
There are people who have wifi enabled phones but have never used it before. My dad for one. I have unlimited data so 3.5G is more important to me.
Instead of putting these features into the phone and make it expensive, Nokia thought it wise to exclude them and make the phone affordable.
This phone is good enough for me and many others I guess. All that matters to ME is that it is reliable and has good music quality.
If it doesn't meet ur requirements, pls search others and u will surely see one that does, rather than write hate comments.
Except u want a 4inch capacitative OLED TS phone with 32GB internal memory, 1Ghz processor, 512RAM, 12MPx optical zoom camera, wifi b/g/n/a/y/z for $99. Then pls be patient for the next 20yrs. Even then u will have some excuses I bet u.

My first handsets was nokia 3230 than samsung x210,nokia 3120 classic,nokia 6030,nokia 5320 xpressmusic,nokia 5130 xpressmusic & after this i am not satisfied only nokia 5235 comes with music will

Nokia 2009 touchscreen handsets are nokia 5235 comes with music,n97 mini,x6,5230 and 5530 xpressmusic these five handsets are fresh & nokia 5800 xpressmusic sucks because it is 2008 handsets boring & my new handsets for 2010 january is going to be nokia 5235 comes with music almoust very fresh

I am not really sure what happened at the Nokia braintrust meeting. It seems they have released the 5800 and made it very affordable, and thereafter released inferior look-alikes as this model and the 5230 at a time where the 5800 is now even cheaper. Does anyone know why you would choose these over the 5800?

Why nokia dont realise new nokia5800 version with capative ts or omolet ts, free maps and other option for same price like old nokia 5800?i dont want buy another new nokia crap cos 5800 still best. is it still marketing? Do read opinion about this crap phone peoples from nokia? I think samsung eat soon nokia"s world cake. Sorry for english.

Actually i hope nokia comes with new symbian interface rather than comes with music. The old 1 kinda preety booring isn't it?

i thought this was the CDMA version of Nokia 5230, since all old nokia CDMA using the xxx5 codename.
but is is not.
looks like nokia change their nomenclature system.

i think nokia is going to become a cheap brand name? where are the next n97,n900,e72's?? and wheres the new powerful n95?? we miss that, we are tired of these crappy phones, cheap cheap cheap cheap..
