Anyone got problems with the Voice Recorder? Someone test please and let me know. When i record a voice clip, the sound is VERY low even thought i have the phone volume on HIGH. Does anyone else have this problem or do i have a faulty handset?

It has got a USB connection, you can copy paste your files directly from your computer to your 6300 (possible on Windows XP O.S.) and you do not require Nokia Suite. The screen quality is excellent.

To QASIM RIAZ,
I had a SE K750i, i then moved to the Nokia 6300. I personally love the operating system on the Nokia, it is really customisable. In my opinion, the Nokia 6300 is much better.
However, if you are planning on taking photos or recording video, do NOT get the Nokia 6300. With my previous SE K750i, i took 20 pictures in a year and recorded 10 videos in the year. So clearly, i did not need these features on a phone and thats why i prefer the Nokia.
About the sound quality, its very clear but it also sounds a little weird as its only got mono speakers i think? But i think the sound quality is of personal preference. Don't get me wrong, it is crystal clear but also weird coming from a SE K750i and going to a Nokia 6300.

There might be a problem with the handset or it might need a firmware upgrade. I did not find any settings related to the blue flashing lights on the phone. I did not need to change any settings when i got the phone. When i receive a missed call, or i forget to look at a text message, the blue lights 'continously keep flashing' until you look at the missed call or read the message.

I bought this phone yesterday. My initial reaction is that it looks good.
I have one problem -> the side lights for reminder are not blinking after a missed call/sms. Is it a problem with the handset? or is there some way to activate those lights for the missed alerts?

what a lame review by GSM Arena!!! they didn't mention ANYTHING about the most important part of the phone - its audio quality. how is the reception? how is the earpiece volume? is it loud enough? any distortion? etc...you get the idea.

I'll report one problem now, the Voice Recorder sound is VERY low when playing a clip back on the Nokia 6300. It might be loud when transferred to another PC or phone, but does someone know how to fix this problem?

Ok for starters the K750i is a very very very old handset now so i don't know how anyone can or would compare this gorgeous phone with it.
I work for the leading mobile phone company and this has got to be one of the best phones we have had in for a long time, its had no problems reported so far, i also have this phone and i don't normally have Nokia's but i am so glad i got this one..
Its fantastic and its not over-powered with gadgets that no one is going to use.. This phone is a must if you want something that looks and won't go wrong like N95, N73 etc

I've had this phone for over a month. The phone is very slim and very user friendly. The downside of it is that it says it has 2 megapixel camera the picture quality is really bad compared to the Sony Ericsson K750i. And I couldn't download any themes and there are nothing much to do with this phone. Battery sucks. Don't talk that long the phone heats up quick.
