If u guys are watchin 2 by one of the most wonderfull phone in the world my recommendation is this perfect device because it is just like my computer and only thing that i doubt is the data transfer speeds but let me till it in dis way if u are a big businessman i recommend the n900 or the e72 but if u want style and every thing including anything this is it so if you are a teenager just like me i recommend this and by the way i was using the iPhone 3gs and this is way more cooler than it but it is not that user friendly

The system hanged within one week of purchase and then got it repaid and now the system appears to be slow. I would not recommend for any one to purchase this model.

> In reply to Pnoy in US @ 2009-11-21 19:54 from M7%PMany people seem to say that hard-resetting will improve the performance of the phone, though it's a bit unclear exactly why. But one thing that a hard reset will do is restore c drive memory - after the hard reset you will probably end up with 40-50mb. Nokia for some reason had the bone-headed idea to only put about 80mb on c drive! I would also recommend when you receive your phone to uninstall the apps that can be removed from the phone (eg accuweather, facebook app) and reinstall them on e drive. Just make sure that the app can be found on the net somewhere (ovi store or somewhere else) before you delete it. There are other tips to recover c memory, just google it.

For me, it's gonna be either N86, E79 or N900. I'm gonna definitely pass on N97. N97 is the successor of N96. Both are epic failures. N97's hardware flaws, the poor GPS and camera lens scratching, and it's shortcomings and software glitches, very insufficient RAM and phone memory, underpowered processor and the buggiest software ever since the N97, for a flagship device are unforgivable!

> In reply to n97 fan @ 2009-11-21 21:42 from 0t{6I've had the phone for almost 2 months and i haven't had problems with camera lens scratch. However, i haven't taken that many photos, maybe only 50... As far as i am aware, if you take your phone to a nokia care point centre, they will replace lens for free as nokia have acknowledged this design flaw. I wouldn't recommend removing the lens cover because if you try to alter the phone it might void the warranty. Go to nokia first.

> In reply to Sourav M @ 2009-11-21 11:48 from vG7bNot true my friend. When then phone rings while it is lock, notice a green bar moving from left to right. It is actual an arrow. Swipe the arrow in that direction.Left to right. That is the only way to answer the phone when it is lock. When you hang up, the phone remain lock! I´m sure you will love this feature once you learn to use it.

my oh my, just as i was about to confine my N97 to being the charger phone for my E72 (same batteries duh), i reinstalled ver 20 and lo! became functional. one gripe though, those who designed and approved that 70mb is nuf c: memory ought to be fired! nokia, are you listening?
