It's not a Philips phone. It's made in China (by "CECT" I think), with the name Philips. It will be named Philips for 3 or 4 more years from now.

Before, there was a bit of Philips in every phone: best example? the voice activated answer among other things. Now, it's the opposite...it looks like any other phone. From Blazing trails a few years ago, to just trailing everyone else.tsk tsk
