GSM Arena, is this phone coming out with two different versions in camera resolution. On youtube some videos are showing a 5MP camera coming to the US and others are showing Asian versions with an 8MP camera. what's your take?

I was wondering when there'd be a competitor to the HD Diamond 2. This is actually closer to the HD in size. Love to see a direct comparison between these and any other new similar WM devices. Questions: Rumor has Verizon US getting the Diamond around September. This would be out when? Differences between HSPDA and 3G?

> In reply to future Omnia 2 owner @ 2009-06-18 17:10 from nWKt - click to readInteresting.
If that's the case, and judging by WM6.5 RAM requirements seems to be 256+ dedicated for the O/S, perhaps by the time WM7 comes, it will be 16.7 million? If that's true at least we shut the 16.7million Nokia fanclub up on that department. Sigh. Personally 65k is fine and if 16.7m does cause a major drain on battery, I rather they stick with 65k.
Interesting.

> In reply to Nguyen Khanh Hoang @ 2009-06-18 22:03 from uY}K - click to readThis is Windows Mobile... You can upgrade if the phone has the specs.

And no Windows Mobile 7 is not coming out in 2009. Its in 2010.

And no one really knows what Windows Mobile 7 will require. If the leaked roadmap was real, some adjustments to hardware is expected.

On a side note, if anyone is really interested with WM7, I suggest holding off any purchase this year. Microsoft is saying nothing and I mean nothing about WM7 but leaked info suggests a major overhaul of the O/S and it seems might need hardware that are above what is offered today or in 2009. It seems Microsoft's focus on 6.5 is meant to sustain new phone sales. Nothing more. Hopefully someone will cook up a WM6.5 ROM for my TOuch Dual. Then I can skip this generation of new phones and wait till 2010.

Another beautiful baby from Samsung. Clearly, they wil come a time when you keep a phone for a week and after that its old technology.
