By setting a limit of none or 1 background processes my ram on ics seems to stay around 400 mb but in task manager it still seems to keep apps open and evrythings so can still multitask so Don't know what background processes its stopping but seems to help if you want to keep ram down

if you go to developer options in settings theres an option to limit or turn of background processes wich should help reduce battery concumption as it seems that ics keeps more stuff cashed and has more going on than gb when your not using it.

compare with 2.3.6, this 4.0.3 does drain battery 30% faster at least. i was thinking maybe the cpu overclock than previous version, thatz y it perform faster n more functional. hope samsung can come out an improve version very soon. otherwise need to bring charger when going out.

My update version seems not to have that internet browser screen invert function, under the accessibility setting tab.

I think this 4.0.3 update is not yet stable... hoping that samsung will release a stable ICS for GNote soon... the video app is always crashing: "Unfortunately, video has stopped."
the "restart" function always revert the wallpaper mode to lanscape when you set it in portrait mode (single screen) thus showing a black bar on the sides...

guys, any one of you using "Smart App Protector Pro"? I guess its not compatible with ICS yet? It does not open on start up compared to when i was still on GB 2.3.6... Do you have any suggestion for an app protector (free without add, if ever) that works well with ICS?

thanks in advance...

> In reply to [deleted post]Well how did u update through kies after rooting the phone...

According to me ROOTING the phone... was one of my worse experience... It will RUIN the device...

Note my Point YOUR GPS IS NOT GONNA WORK ANYMORE... if u root once... ONCE ROOTED YOUR PHONE CANNOT BE RETURNED BACK TO ORIGINAL FACTORY SETTING as which is possible nowadays in IPHONE by taking a backup so after JAIL BREAKING the device than also it can be returned back

BECAUSE OF ROOTING MY GPS STOPPED WORKING ... n my whole time was gone to set this atlast my memory got corrupted .... n i had to sell S2....

NOTE IS ALREADY HAVING GREAT FEATURES ... ALL LEGALLY so why should we root ....

TO OPEN admin rights is other thing ... BUT IT ISNT benifit to us ... The normal setting provide us much easier...

IF U ROOT ONCE U CANT COME BACK TO "LEGAL VERSION" thats all i meant to say ! Root but keep in mind what i had said ...
