you can able to upgrade your Firmware to Froyo 2.2. I have it on my Galaxy i7500, its rocking now :) Go for it..It involves lot of patience to do the process mentioned in that forum.

I use Samsung i7500 galaxy from 1 month, and its great. I think young people can support his price and its wonderful. I just cant update the android system version. His default is 1.5
