Bass is loud enough (ecxept at very low frequencies like below 40Hrz) you wont even notice it if you dont compare with a hifi,lol.
I checked it with some audio test signals downloaded from the net, just google: "low frequency audio test signal"
you will find huge amount of those downloadeble for free with instructions which you could test any audio players on your own :=)
Im a kind of audiophile guy, LOL

So the bass and volume are adequate to me(just throw out those sh**phones in the retail box and use pair of good one)

I dont know why but the quality is worse than the original file(in resolution and frame rate), maybe youtube compressing files too much...!!

I can record in D1 @30fps with no drops. I have some samples in HD and D1 but I have a crap internet, i cant upload antthing more than 25mb right now:(
But i will try to cut those videos to reduce their size and will post link of them ASAP.

just to mention my phone still have the first sw version and currently no update available in my region. so theyre with that crap amr sound.

Ask other guys here if their d1 frame rate remained untoched after sw update
