Considering the budget you've quoted, this would be a lot better than most of the phones available in that price range, imho.

I have already posted the problems with the phone . I don't have it...I have an s2 .Moreover u can have a look at the problems faced by other users.
Though galaxy r is a great phone , it fails time and again because of lack of support from Samsung. I doubt if it gets an ICS update too.

I bought my phone galaxy R in feb 2012 from delhi, india. Now it shuts down automatically very often and doesn't start on pressing power button. I have uninstalled all apps and have reseted/formated once but of no use. Any solution?
