i don't care about the color. im a guy but even if samsung sells it in pink only- i would still buy since it is made of eco friendly materials and it charges thru solar panels (kick-ass)! thereby reducing the instance of charging from our convenient coal powered lines.. please help save the environment even in the littlest of ways.

The phone works great, has nice feature (samsung tipical), I bought it at 300$ brand new. The thing that I find interesting is the solar chargin, is great when ur in a trip and u don`t have your charger, a few min in the sun and you can chat again . The wireless gave me some trouble, disconnected a few times, updated the firmware and works great. well like most of the samsungs, you lack apps and customization options, but in a overall competition with the phones in it`s class, I`d say it has a 9.2/10

Hi

I have a Samsung S7550 and can't find software to sync with my computer. Any ideas out there?? I have tried 'Samsung PC Suite 3 and 7' and 'Samsung New PC Suite'. Keeps telling me authentication failed.

Well, i suppose you don't know how to take care of a symbian smartphone... or yours is one of those branded firmware phones.

My 5800 (factory unlocked and unbranded) is running fast and smooth, no delays, no restarting by itself (and i never turn it off, only after a firmware upgrade), lots of stuff installed in the 16GB memory card, great battery life, perfect screen legibility under direct sunlight (almost impossible with a Samsung high-end phone, i've had plenty, so i know)...
Completely satisfied, will not change the 5800 for now.

> In reply to 5800 @ 2009-12-01 22:21 from pskj - click to readyeah i agree with jabrix, this phone is definitely better than that silly 5800 nokia crappy phone,i have had it for 6 months now and all i have seen is a slow phone with a camera that isnt possibly 1 MP and you call that smartphone? come on man smart is someone who is fast but that phone was just an exaggerated failure,im gonna throw it away as soon as i get my hands on my samsung corbypro

are you serious???
the 5800 is a smartphone, running Symbian - guess you really don't know what it means, do you?

i like this Blue Earth, but it is ONLY a phone for calls, messaging and not much else... knowing the Samsung devices well, it won't have the capability of installing the same amount of apps as you can on a Symbian phone.

you can't even watch full movies on this Samsung, one of the things i do every day on my 5800.
