ta samsung jet is an awesome mob.. got it a couple of days back.. ta battery still hasn't run out after ta first charge..
amazing screen clarity... i can watch movies on ta jet without converting it into another format..
i can even connect it to my tv and match excellent quality movies..
but one doubt.. where can i get apps for my jet.. i would like a dictionary pls...

Its in the profile settings. Choose a profile, press the red arrow next to it, then at the top change the 'incoming call' bit to 'text message' and you can then change the message tone.
Can someone tell me if the message tone,when set to an mp3 song, plays the whole song or just a little bit over and over?

It is a great phone!
I am still learning its functions.
How can I change the ringtone when I receive a text message? Where can I find this setting?

Hi. I know you can set mp3's sms alert tones, but i was wondering if it plays the whole song or just a bit over and over. Also, is there the setting to make the sms tone start quiet and get louder and louder the longer it rings? Thanks.

I'm also from South Africa. So far really liking what I'm seeing spec-wise from this phone and the positive feedback.
BUT
Since I've read that the phone doesn't support .jar files I'm a bit concerned about MXit not being able to run in the phone, I not so sure if MXit uses .jar file type or not.
From a fellow South African, can you please tell me whether or not MXit will work on the JET?

Hi, can somebody tell me about D1 video recording on this S8003 jet comparing with D1 on S8300 about the quality? I know those two had the same D1 720x480 @30FPS, but is it exactly the same quality?
Does the differentiate on the megapixel camera will affect the quality on the video recording?

and its pretty cool_

I just figured out i have to deactivate the motion tutorial to enabale the motion control. Now i can simply shake, flip, swing to the right/left in using the music player, fm radio, and other application. perfect guys, just do the motion. hahaha.
