Where can i purchase extra battery for this unit? I need one because the battery drains always!

This is got to the worst phone I have ever purchased. So much so that I had to threaten taking the retailer to court. The faults and problems are as listed:-

1. Mic cuts out after a few moments on most calls made.

2. Battery life appaling, i got 2 hours one day despite charging it up over night.

3. Slow Slow Slow is word here, software applications are like waiting for paint dry.

4. Camera rubbish

5. Touch screen hopelessly poor and recsessed so you cant get to the corner icons!

6. Contact list hard to navigate

7. This phone was supposed to had GPS Maps built into it, well it hasn't. It has GPS but you need to be an expert at orienteering to read it. Also maps impossible to download as no one would support it.

In a word....RUBBISH! AVOID IT!!!

i bought this unit 8 months ago in dubai, i feel bad for this phone because suddenly the screen turned all white without any cause. I tried to hard reset it but still the no changes at all. I also got an eten G500 a year ago! but Damn almost the same problem "SCREEN PROBLEM" that made me trow the unit! and now x650! whew dont buy this unit anymore...but if u have...u'll experience what im saying!

the speaker is very bad, also every time hangs and unable to reset using the stylus, to restart the mobile we have to open the battery.

If you are going to use IGO8 (GPS) yourll need to delete the un-used resolutions in the data.zip file, otherwise the program sucks all ur memory. Yourll also need to tweak the sys file aswell (reserve mem etc)

If you get this phone upgrade to the latest ROM from the ETEN website (410 currently)...dont install ANY e-ten apps on setup. Also install the SdkCerts.cab and FISH_TOUCH_FIX2.cab (google yourll find it). This should leave you with 30Mb free ram and your phone working ok.

I just use Glofiish x650 and I have one question !

Where is the place I can turn off GPS?

Actually I was off all software use GPS but the GPS light on my fone still wink with blue colour

my gloflish x650 very slow memmory when i am loaded any program it is vey slow can i get more memmory how i can get please help me out

This phone is great stuff if such expectation have been met:
1) Poor speaker sound comparing to Nokia
2) Very poor battery life. I use it for 30 to 40 minutes of talk and some PIM, it last less than a day. At least 24 hours. The battery drop to 95% immediately after complete charge and slide down very fast.
3) The handfree sound did not improve further. However, there are the volume control that work good.
4) Hang due to low RAM (I guess)
5) Not so responsive.

Anybody have a better experience than this. Is it the unit fails or it is a universal problem.
Buying E-Ten, if this have been fixed.

its all about low ram which you guys talk. its really simple to fix it just install a ram booster and defragg the memory card's free space to ram.
its solved

The unit is quite far okay, i can not play my music stored in my 4gb micro sd card, I can not download yahoo messenger neither yahoo to be able to send e-mails, but i can recieve e-mails. It always hang can the customer service please answer me back. Thanx

Its sad,I it a week ago,cannot add any thing to the device.there is problem in synchronizing with comp.I downloaded activsyn 4.5,since my OS is windows vista home premium.Can anyone suggest the suitable activsyn version

Tee specification is really amazing but the performance is really bad. It is really slow and I spent most of the time to reboot it because it always hang......

the device is actually fast, but there is a bug for the touchscreen driver, you need to google it and install the fix, after installing the fix, the x650 flys :)
