Hi i was wondering if this phone required settings with the sim card before the phone can detect it?
I"m using Fido right now in Canada and i've tried it with Rogers too, but this phone doesn't recognize the sim card. I know this phone is unlocked so i was wondering if any other person ever got this phone to work in Canada or the USA when they got it?

please and thanks!

Does anyone know how to take a decent picture with this camera phone? If there is the teeniest of movement by the object or user, the picture comes out very blurry (still slightly blurry if not moving!!). Any suggestions?

as a matter of fact, the mobile technology on the market is that of 7-10 years ago. In labs mobiles that last a month with a charge exist. there are also integrated printer devices, walkie talkies, and heated surface for those cold days. Plastic is replaced with aluminium and composites. But, my dear friends, how on earth can such devices be mass produced? Does it make sese to release a 260 gb cell phone which acts as a hard disk? does it make sense to release pda cell phones as powerful as pentium 4's with liquid nitrogen cooling systems????

The answer is no-so my friends let's enjoy crappy 1 mp cell phones wrapped in fancy plastic colours designed to deteriorate with use. Lets charge our nokia 3g phone once a day and let's all believe this wonderful lie named the market force.

camera phones were invented in 1997, but they didn't get on the market immediatly. after many years they surfaced on the market. 5 mp mobiles have long been in existance in labs, but not on market places coz it dont make sense to release a top class cell phone immediatly and avoid the possibility of selling other type of camera phones with less resolution. AND NOW, that gigabyte had the balls to introduce ahead of d competition a 5 mp cell phone, all you do is say it's ugly. Its a pity you are so alienated in marketing ads of wats cool and not.

Based on the Specs, it is clearly stating that this one is a camera centric device... it's got what will battle N95's 5Mp cam with better flash...:-D

I'll tell you WTF it is! A lame attempt to create a high-end camera with the optional telecommunication compatibility!
