I really wanted this phone but I really wish I had never got it. It does nothing right, takes ages to do anything and there are constant problems with connectivity. I confirm what a previous poster said about it just deciding to take pictures or make calls on its own. Compared to a standard Nokia it is almost disfunctional, I always receive messages late and the main connection port stopped working after only 6 months, after a year there was no connection at all and beware, LG offer no help whatsoever.
Dont get an lg phone!

Recently, my LG KC550 has not been itself. I dies within a day when it used to last 3. It takes pictures by itself without me pressing the buttons. It doesn't react immediately when I want it to. Sometimes I have to press a button twice or three times in order for the phone to finally realize that I want it to do something.

Man! this phone Rocks!
i think it's the only cell phone that has 6 or 7 fonts that can be changed.u can also increase the size of fonts! camera is awesome.Screen resolution is magnificent.much better than crap N73.
the only problem is installing Java.
it will take about 5 to 10 minutes 2 install sth on it.
but anyways. this phone is cool.The real shape of the phone is much more beautiful than what u see in the photos.

I think im taking KC550 for granted. I've had this phone for a year and a half now. It's pretty good in battery life when I charge it over night and use it the next day to listen to music while studying for 6 hours. The battery bar will still appear to be 3 bars.
I like how I can transfer anything basically onto this phone by the micro SD card.
It's a pretty good phone in my opinion, the only thing I dislike about it is that.. it's going to get bad reception in basements and underground tunnels due to its triband network.

just dont buy it!
the camera aint 5mp the resolution is fake.
the battery life is poor.
key board is is reallt hard to use.
its too slow.
it cant play WMA files clearly if u play a wma file u will hear a perfect noise!
the intenal memory is only 13 mb and u cant recive file larger than that and u cant change the storage memory from phone memory to external memory.
the pc suite is sucks!
but the lcd quality is really good better than nokia n95.

Ok, last night i put my KC550 on charge and i turned it on after about an hour so i could see if i had new messages. But it took ages to load up and when it finally did i had two weird looking symbols above where it says contacts no the main screen, they are still there now. It is fully charged and now is running very slow, the screen goes black by itself and it doesnt react to being slid up/down. PLEASE HELP! I cant live without my phone!

i am also using this phone and it is nice........its not slow,the alarm also rings and the C button work

then under Alarm Type set to 'Always sound',

i've been using this phone for almost 9 months and it sucks! please don't buy it. It's hopeless, so slow that you want to take a hammer and break it into pieces! c button often doesn't work too.. - but camera is just excellent and so does the screen.
