I like the keypad of the VE66, its different a bit to the traditional razr like keypads and it somewhat resemblems the aura. could this be the new design for motorola phones?

I would love to see a motorola clamshell with the keypad area being a touchscreen and it could be skinned to whatever you want the keypad to look like. I guess i'm going overboard there...

No 3G? WiFi, but no 3G? A 5 megapixel camera, but no 3G? Come on Moto, the Nokia N95 has been out for almost two years, start by trying to do something like THAT rather than wasting our time with flawed handsets like this.

I am really really really really tempted to buy this phone. I like the ZN5 but this is good looking phone especially if the 3g version comes out.

Motorola phones are so expensive and their features sucks! :S

Just because it's third world countries, it doesn't mean it's all desert and bushveld.

South Africa has 4 cell networks, 2 of which are 3G 3.6mbps operators with extensive coverage and all are edge enabled.

MTN & Vodacom (majority vodafone owned) are one of the top operators in terms of turnover in the world. Do a search and you'll see. South Africa has had 3G coverage since the birth of the Nokia 6630.

This is because of the stranglehold that the goverment has on the fixed telecoms operators' environment. 3G is a godsend in Africa. The industry is booming. The same goes for India.
