The problem with line 1 and line 2 can be solved. Line 2 is for only gprs. For calls, go to :
MENU> Settings> Phone Status> Active line> line 2
Your problem can be repaired.

My cousin dropped and lost this phone day before yesterday on the beach. He and his friends were knee deep in the sea, when a sudden rain storm blew their umbrellas. They ran behind the umbrellas, and in the haste did not notice the phone drop off into the sea. There was extreme rain for at least 10 minutes. so they abandoned the search for the phone. Once they were back home, we deemed the phone to be definitely gone (either the sea or the rain would have gotten it). So much that we did not even hurry into getting to the service provider to block the SIM.
But amazingly, today morning, we got a call saying the mobile was found by someone and was in working condition! Of course, I wouldnt still recommend dropping your w230 in the sea, your milage may wary. But its simply amazing that this phone still works!

u know what guys ive been using this phone for 2 yrs and its very helpful i love the specification of this phone and now it 2 years the only problem with mw230 was the battery but its due to long usage ..if u dnt know how use it pssible that u will experiencing that kind of problm like how to cnnct it with pc ,or how to use micro sd with mw230...^.^

I will never again buy this phone. Pathetic battery life. It was almost good for the first 3 - 6 months. Then I have to charge it almost every half a day!! And that too only there's music player, no file explorer unlike the LG models.
I would better suggest you to go for Samsung Guru's rather than this.
