A friend of mine gave me a motorola celular W233 and it is locked. How can I unlock it? (for free). Is there any free program to unlock it?. Thank U Guys.

I got this phone with a FIDO plan and it lived up to its expectations. After having some experience with a W510, the W233 has a better OS.

i've had it for a year now and its had its *MINOR* issues but its totaly worth it... 50$ and i dont pay a cent for ringtones and witha 1 gb sd card i can have over 200!!!!! songs but today the phone has been saying "memory is full!" and i have no messages on my phone no browsing history all my contacts are on sim and no music ... basically it has nothing but factory crap on it lol but still WORTH IT!!!

got it for $29.99 as a temporary fone, n i jst love it... had a 256 MB micro sd in ma closet.... popped it in and for this price MP3, COLOR SCEEN, SPEAKER PHONE, MICRO SD SUPPORT, USB 1.1 n most of all its GREEN... um loviinnn it :) GOD JOB MOTO!!!

I HATE HATE HATE this phone!

It started out as an okay phone, not sure if I just got a bad one or not, but it just started to crap out on me. The charger just stopped connecting to the phone itself, I would have to fiddle with it just to get it to start charging, and it got increasingly harder to charge as time went on. It's to the point that I can hardly charge it, and have to get a new phone. I have had it for maybe just over a year, but I started having problems after only a couple months.

I would not recommend this phone, my old one worked much better... and had way cooler features and was easier to use!

Try creating a folder for music and one for pictures on the memory card

If you want a phone that you can use to call people with and nothing else, this is the phone for you. I like it, it was cheap and doesn't have 5,000 features that I'll never use.

I just got this phone as of yesterday, Nov. 25th 09. The USB connection does not work at all. No access to my 2 GB microSD. There is no driver support for it in order for me to charge it through my computer. The booklet informed me to go to www.motorola.com/supoort/W233 and I am taken to another non-supportted site. Also I can not Reg. the phone at Motorola.com. These bad feature of the W233 Motorola phone should not exist. Now I am stuck with a P.O.S.

I just got one it's very nice very easy to work, everything in it works properly, i have no problems with it, the battery lasts a whole week thats very good. there is also a range of test functions including one that actually makes the phone sound amplified you just have to type in #090# and a range of functions automatically appears.

I own one and it is a reliable phone. the only problem is the LCD. 2 of my friends also own this phone and we encounter similar problems. orange spots on the LCD. Its the 3rd time my LCD was replaced, and now,, black lines across the screen. the phone is only 5 months old and i took good care of all my phones. and i don't know whats the prob with the LCD. besides like what ive said, it is a reliable phone.
