this product is very attractive but their screens are not strong and without the touch you cannot get any access to operate anything on the menu.

Do not get it. I gives a good first "impression," but other than that it's horrible. From the turning it on and off to send text messages to the keyboard lagging and repeating letters 390873802x to the screen barely being slid out goes completely black I would NOT GET THIS!

This phone is a very good one with its GPRS service, it is one of a class. But, it battery is not good. Here in Nigeria, it is very difficult to get original samsung spare accessories. Inprovement on the phone's BATERRY will make it superb.

I have had this phone twice. It is a very user friendly phone with great features. That being said, It is sad that this phone is so unreliable. I went through 2 in about a year and a half. Anyone else I know who had one had the same problems where the phones scrren eventually starts to go out rendering it un useable. It seems to be an issue with the contact points on the slider.

i really love this phone...the only problem i found with it is that it doesnt have a flash when u take a pic. i would also like for samsung to get a plan for internet just as how you have bbm(blackberry messenger) and etc.

i just like to agree w/ what geek said. most touchscreen are if not a problem on the memory card, its the software. if your touchscreen will not be responsive, pls dont do master reset or factory reset coz it will worsen its calibration. just religiously delete unnecessary files in either/both memory card or phone memory and dont ever download 3rd party application to make sure that no corrupted files will be stored. thanks

This is a good phone. it's just that there are some people who dont know how to use it wisely. If the phone freezes, it could be due to your excessive data saved on the phone;try to remove the sd card or just delete all the data that you have there. or better yet, call samsung for assistance.

maybe ur using touchscreen in wrong way.use ur nails instead of fingertips as ur stylus.or use a real stylus..lols.:D:D:D

just a heads up, the dude at the at&t repair place says that he gets alot of the "impression" phone with the same problem. he just advised getting another one or getting a different model, preferably a different model. hope this helps some

This is my second impression and it needs to be replaced. Touchscreen unresponsive intermittently. Bluetooth causes the autolock to lock and stay, mechanical lock button on right is unresponsive frequently. When I am driving I depend on bluetooth to answer the phone in a quick manner. I can't hunt for a button to respond. Also, the txt in my inbox is size huge and a half. It has been reimaged, lost all my msgs, and it only returned the font to normal for a couple days.

Terrible. the first one lasted 3 months. The replacement lasted 5 months, no solution yet. Screen stops working. All is lost. I now use a $30 "go fone". At least it works. This is a don't buy!!

so you mean this phone is not advisable?
i've read all of the posts here and they all have the same problem. nyweiz.. i'll be having this phone soon. and i hope. i will be impressed by this IMPRESSION.

I was gonna try to recalibrate it but if the screen is not working then you are not able to calibrate it. So now I am not able to go any farther with my phone cause I can not get into it. The impression was a nice phone up to this point. I wish there was another way of fixing the problem but ATT just wants to replace it.
