You can install CyanogenMod to update to Gingerbread (Android 2.x). Any CyanogenMod version up to 6.1.

Very poor performance , bad display , not support all format , camera is waste, track ball promt to get repair. much problem to upgrade.........

How can I use memory card in HTC. Mobile memory dosent support maximum download. VDO function don't work. How can it be overcome...? Why batary duration is so low...?

hey there, im plannin to buy this handset.
As im lookin for a handset, which is cool in looking, gives a average battery talktime, good internet feature and a smooth operating phone.
Should i go with this one ?

im going to exchange my Nokia N95 with this G1 Phone, is that a good deal? G1 is better then N95?

How this Bluetooth works? Cause I can't transfer musics or video via Bluetooth from the other phone.

battery life is above 2 working days with routine calls, browsing and texts,

phone speed is far way better then htc hero and other phones,

and regarding the blue tooth, its all way old story when there were stone age shades on all of you

i am still happy with its performance, never mind, you wont even held one

Current Phones i have are> Desire HD, Stock SPL, Radio and Rom- Google G1 32bit t-mobile( trout) amon recovery and 1.6 Super CSDIV apps to sd, 3to4 ext part...
what else u need kid..!

however, please note that u have to root the phone plus a simple rom called Super CSDIV is your main target, then forget Nexus 1 and hero, the speed will be out of your own range and battery performance plus apps to sd and other things will remained at your tips

follow the instruction guide and do it with in an hour, the rom could be easily find at xda-developers or any android forum, not an issue http://theunlockr.com/2010/04/...htc-g1dream/

also youtube the said name superCSDiv for htc google g1( Dream), its really charming phone thoug..

My T-Mobile G1 whenever I try to go through the google search it says " The process android.process acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" Could you help me to solve the problem
