I actually liked this phone, it reminded me of a samsung tocco ultra without the slide, my ex works for voda and has been using this phone for a month or so as a tester. She likes it but finds the battery isnt as good as it's supposed to be however I found that the video quality is really good. I think companies that make widescreen phones with auto rotate should allow the homescreen to rotate also??

I too have this phone from launch day and paid £400 from vodafone store just for the phone. It is good but there are a few issues which bug me.
1) 3 SMS tones to choose from, and you can't use your own.... Further investigate show samsung have included the standard SMS tone they use but you can't select them, they can only be used for incoming phone calls
2) Cannot have a background image - further investigation samsung have included their standard background images but you can't select them.
3) there is no way to delete more than 1 call at a time. press the call button will show you a list of calls you have made and received aswell as sms msg's, you must delete each 1 you cannot selete the edit button and select all to delete.
4) you can only use the pre-defined email acccounts (bt, sky, hotmail, yahoo) if your with someone else i.e talktalk you cannot have email on your phone.
5) you will find the apps you use the most (facebook, myspace) are not installed on the menu of the phone you still have to go through the internet button and choose it from the bookmark.
6) the shop at the moment is very limited and you can't tell the difference between free and charable options.
Apart from that the phone is good and worth getting, but I have a feeling it is a platform for the iphone when that is release, and the H1 and M1 will be moved the side.

Well vodafone gave me this phone. Its beaughifull fun. Great multimedia phone. But in my opinion a very annoying OS lol. I may say is the best work samsung have done. Nothing compared to the windows mobile and android , much less the iphone. I dont like the idea of sync email and beeing dependent to vodafone to do it. Its a slow way of getting connected. Wifi service is limited to WPA, doenst support WAP enterprise. Great 5 MP camara ; great GPS system with a 20 m error ; Excelente ideia the 360 service . to edit contacts and make groups you need 360.com and are dependent to it (wich is annoying) . And some bugs wich the phone has. Has a great touch screen, lacks multitouch hability.
From 0 - 10 , i give to features around 7
At performance i give a 5
At design i give a 7.
Its a good phone to use.

Hi,
Just picked up the first H1 that was available in my own shop. Brilliant little phone, great touchscreen ( like the i8910 ).
LiMo takes a little getting used to, but it works great!
5mp camera takes very decent shots indeed, with enough settings to play with.
16gb internal memory works like a charm too
And the biggest seller for me?? It has no simlock :-)
Biggest setback?? The 360 service itself ( partially available for people that don't use Vodafone) will be active in about 2 days.. Bummer...
Besides that, I'm very happy with my H1...

[The same question at this cellphone (even it is the same like Samsung Vodafone 360 H1 in this database)]
Hi everybody.
is there any software (apps) available for this os like onboard navigation software or office apps? or is it all about java if you need additional stuff?
kind regards

Had a good play with this device the other day as were starting trining for sales & support. Im currently using a BBcurve8900 and im trading mine in on the 30th for one of these. Forget having all your facebook, twitter and emails on one device. imagine them all working as one on one screen. like the 'messages' box on a blacxkberry gives you all emails, bbchat and txt, this gives you all your updates and messages as one option.
say goodbye to checking your twitter, then your facebook, then txting people for more info, this gives you all that info on the contact.
very...VERY excited.

I hope that is not left out like the guys @ Android did when releasing their first phone, without a document reader/editor. Waiting for it here in South Africa on Vodacom, apparently.

Wait till it comes out and play with it. I did, and it was brilliant. and to those confused it is not a resistive touch screen. Its a capacitive!
