I lost my stylus. Trying to look for an e101 stylus. The exact type because i want it to fit into the phone slot. Any one have a clue?

i have purchased this phone few days back...it is working perfectly fine.. nice speed..no hangups easy to use .... but it has some faults
message never close completely u ll have to close them from task manager...

INTALL core player for increassing the sound .....

one ques ?

how can i change the message tone or the volume ..default v low.....

battery is also bit weak ....


but overall it a gud phone value for money .

Max sound in phone is very less , OS getting corrupted 2 times and now touch Screen not working completely.

This is my first foray into Windows Mobile Phones as such. My opinion about Win-Mo phones was not too good to say the least!!

The Good:
Rs. 9000/- (With bill !!)
Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional !!
Very light weight phone
Large Screen with decent visibility
Full fledged Pocket Office
Fast Processor (Could have been faster though ;) )
Flawless Activesync!! (Push-mail ROCKS!!!)
Gmail and Hotmail services setup in a jiffy!!
Conversation view for SMS as well!!
Hand writing recognition is the best that i have seen (running mind you!!)
IPod style Jog Dial ;) (Although it suffers from over sensitivity)
Dedicated hardware button to toggle Silent and General Modes
The best Speaker Phone yet..

The Bad:
2MP camera
Memory Card is NOT provided in the box
Touch screen becomes un-responsive at times :(
No T9 support (Yes.. yes I know it is a qwerty, but everyone needs a spell checker now and then!)
Obviously No Wi-Fi or 3G
Does not have a "Recent Contacts" list when sending messages.. Phonebook here i come :(

The Ugly:
The battery really DIES when Activesync is on :( (1/2 a day max)
Single Port for Headset and Charging (A real pain with this battery)
Haven't been able to decipher whether this set has a Landscape QWERTY or not :(
Most of the times "Back" takes you all the way to the Home screen :(
Bluetooth really acts up (Not able to use it consistently)

Verdict:
Overall this is an excellent phone for the Price paid. I would be happier if there was a better battery option!

i want it for my business purpose. interstd kinda in unlimited calls and phonebook, and office suite.

battery and wlan is no problem for me.

this has a touchscreen of resistive type , a terrible touch technology i got it for 11000 from retail and then after a 1 day nightmare i exchanged for a samsung monte .nothing can beat a samungas it has a capacitive screen and gives a much better touch experience ...
but acer is twice as advanced in technology and ...... bad touch experience . so choose wisely .

Got one yesterday, it is the most complicated phone I have ever owned. You have to use the stylus, it is long winded to use and I hate it. Will be putting it on ebay in the next hour. Do not buy it, its terrible to use but looks great.

ok, i have the nokia 5800 xpress and I hate it. It is ALWAYS freezing, and has not been a very good phone for me. My friend told me that I DONT want the acer e101. need to know some other opinions about this!

Im a potential Buyer of this phone. Someone asked a question how much GB Sd card it can support I heard from the sales man it can support upto 16 GB.

does anyone else have trouble charging this phone from a standard 12v mini usb car charger? I have three of these for my guys and they all cannot charge via this method. Currently they are using xda in car chargers but surley this shouldnt be a problem? Also, has anyone had the issue where they cannot recieve calls if the battery is only at 2 bars? I am able to make calls and send and receve data, but not receive calls. Any ideas?

I charge it at night for about 2 hours and by morning it shows me about 60-70%, i have my GPRS turned off but still shows that much of battery drain though at night i am not using the phone. Acer should do something about this.
