I heard that this phone's battery gets really hot. Is this true?

I must say, coming from a blackberry curve this is like going from a comadore 64 to an overclocked liquid cooled intel I7 with 12 gigs of ram.

I love this phone, and using the speedtest.net widget i got 2.64Mbps down and 1.26 Mbps up. (basically almost 340 K/sec down.)

the phone is snappy, and the screen isn't all that bad either. All in all I am happy with my upgrade, and the phone. its 2am and I'm still playing with it.

Came here to check how much ram it had. Happy to see its 512.

I'm on Rogers.

Those are just 3 key features the X10 does not have. The X10 is a beautiful phone no doubt, but dont say stupid things like its 'THE BEST ANDROID PHONE BY FAR'

Has anyone bought this phone from Rogers and are using it their Fido plan? I am a Fido customer and am considering this phone, but have no idea how hard it would be to set it up for the Fido network.

Just bought it outright for Rogers... Best phone I've ever had. This has got to be the most underrated phone in the market right now.

The liquid e, atleast the Rogers Wireless version, actually has more ram then the original liquid. Its 512 RAM and 512 ROM, i guess besides the upgraded software thats the difference, perhaps 2.1 ran better with more RAM?

Has proper englsih been totally thrown out the window now? I mean if your going to type something use full words that fix together... I mean really. Punctuation? Ah who gives a crap but when someone is reading something and can't piece the words together to make a full sentence whats the point of even posting something? Atleast with full word sentences and crap punctuation people can still make things out... But I mean where did the english language go?

Can Upgrade liquid 1.6 android to 2.1 eclair, if it can whats the point Acer to realese Liquid e with 2.1 eclair???

I have Liquid A1 (Android 1.6) and have seen some leaked 2.1 ROMs (supports multi-touch). The battery is 1340 mAh, which is about average depending on usage. Longest I've had mine without recharging was 5 days, but that was very light use and turned off at night. I can also drain the battery completely in 1 day if I'm using it nonstop too, which is about the same for any smartphone these days.

TBH this phones release should have 2.2 (FroYO) when its realeased not 2.1 =\

I'm using a Galaxy Spica. Love it, but will gladly move to this one for the slightly bigger screen, the better "home" keys, the notification LEDs and the better camera.
