yeah. you can. just go to Acer official website and go to support page, and find your product (Liquid metal)..and download the firmware..i hope this will help:)

yes of course.me for example, i have it upgraded to android 2.3.5 Try: settings>about phone>system update. there should it say you that a newer version of your firmware is available. if not, thats thing of your country probably , and you can on...
