Can someone please help? There's no sound coming from Acer z110, but if I plug in the earphone it works fine. The volume is is up to maximum, but still no sound. I have switched off and on the phone many times, still nothing.

it is stated that the ROOM is 512 but when I open the phone setting in application management it is stated that I have only 120 MB used and 67 MB free. I wonder where is the the other 315 MB gone...

some features while using the internet are not working specifically the search button on facebook. can't even play with friends because of the connection error. help please ? thank you

create the following folder structure on your SD-card:
media => audio => notifications
media => audio => ringtones

Step 2:
Put your mp3 files in the map notifications or ringtones. They will automatically show up in the list which also includes the standard notifications and ringtones.

Note that when you want a ringtone as notification, just put that mp3 file in the folder "notifications". And when you want a notification as ringtone, just put that mp3 file in the folder "ringtones".

I have the same problem since a long time. One day my phone has fallen down from table and suddenly everything started to work fine, no recent app problem like 1 month. and suddenly same problem started to occure a couple of weeks ago. So now when problem occurs, I just pounch the touchscreen (nicely) and push power button up and down. And problem disappears for another 24h or more. I will give it to warranty of course but if you have to use it in this way than punch it really. It works for me.

I can confirm that the recent apps problem is a hardware issue. I returned my phone twice to Acer. The first time they replaced the touchscreen, which did not help. After that I installed different roms (including the Kill Tim rom), which did not solve the problem either. Therefore, I returned my phone for the second time to Acer and this time they stated in the reparation report that 'they found the problem and reworked the touchscreen' (no idea what that means), but now the recent apps problem has disappeared. To conclude, the recent apps problem seems to be a hardware issue and I would recommend everyone with this problem to return their phone to Acer.

evrything was great untill few weeks ago i got the "recent app" problem........... have to lock and unlock 5 times juz to type a single msgs!!!!!! is every acer phone got this problem?? ACER should take back all this phone and pay compensation to us!!

After firmware update, the error is just less appear but still have same problems, i think it is about hardware not software, I tried many different firmware and still no luck.

Had recent app problem. Sent it to Acer service centre in Malacca n they told me to wait for a week. But the service took more than a week. D worker was rude n he doesn't show a welcoming face. N after getting my phone back, the problem is still there. Am so going to change my phone !
