it is a very good phone espacially the price. And the screen is very good for a budget phone. If you look for a cheap phone with a qwerty keypad buy this one. I have a lot of fun with this phone!

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-07-09 17:02 from wujy - click to readThanks and I just can't understand why Knight Rider don't want to answer queries here. People around the world needs to know anything about Alcatel phones but Knight Rider seems to be coward in providing that information to the masses just by asking them to send their queries via email. I jusst hope that Alcatel will also manufacture this kind of phone which is priced at only $USD 147.50 ==>> http://www.trisimphones.com/ch...le-sim-phone

I just can't understand why Knight Rider don't want to answer me here. It seems that he don't want to answer queries publicly. People around the world want to know anything about alcatel but Knight Rider seems to be coward in answering them while he pretend to be the Alcatel spokesperson.

Knight Rider, I hope that Alcatel will also manufacture this model which is a perfect phone for me and is only priced $USD 147.50.

alcatel pull out of philippine simply because of poor sales. the distributor now is the one selling cherry phone which is easier to sell coz it's a china phone meaning its cheap. and they are more succesfull with this brand compared to alcatel.

I have been visiting all mobile phone store here in our area there is no longer alcatel phones here. Why? Is alcatel not able to compete other phones here specially the china phones?

Well, I read an article about this phone being launched in India with a few minor changes for the rest of the world the phone will come with an 80MB memory and 800 contacts but, the version which will sell in India would be coming with a 100MB memory and 1000 contacts.

What I really looking forward to is they so many Chinese companies offering rip-off for Nokia, Dell, Samsung, Motorola etc.., but its either their battery life or the cheap look. I've always enjoyed using my friends Alcatel phone for a while looking forward to this one when it hit the store across India.

anyone interested in dual sim phone should get samsung b5702 instead. both sims are quad band but lacks 3G (THAT SUCKS!!!!). at least samsung has decent specs. and both sims are active at once and switching between them to make calls is but 1 button press away, with no re-starting of phone.

Nice specs? No kidding!
No WLAN, not even 3G! At least it should have GPRS/EDGE Class 32, not 12. And 3G, definetly, since it's supposed to be "Net"!
850 mAh battery... awesome (not really)...
I bet it has ~
