a very good phone, i bought it in 2004 and it's still working very good. i had some problems with the network signal but after somebody dropped it into water, i was forced to disasable and clean it and it worked and surprising the signal returned to normal. but now i because it's working really good i want to use it again but on an other network but it asks me a code and i dont know how to decode it :( if somebody knows please help me i would be very grateful :)

I have been using this phone since 2004!Its still perfectly working.I like strong its battery. Its features however are outdated but plan to keep in my archives. I love it!

I have recently given my OT 331 to a friend. She needed to put in a new sim card. its requesting a product code. Does anyone know what the product code for OT 331 is? Or can I find that on the original packaging? What do I do if I no longer have that?

One of the toughest phones i know.
Been dropped hundreds of times and at various heights and still was working as brand new. but died after someone accidentally drowned it at we later found out after 2hrs doing coin diving.

I'm using it since March 2004 and it is still working without any problem. The only wrong thing is the scratched keypad. However, I like its macedonian menu and also I'm planning to keep it alive as my older member of my GSM phones family, until it have to "die" some day :-)))

I still use this phone and it just keeps going.
From my experiences with Alcatel phones (I'm having their models since forever) they are all very reliable and indestructible. They just won't quit. As I said mine's still working and it serves the main cause perfectly - it's a phone, and a damn great one! If you need a camera buy digital cam. but the phone rocks!

i this type of i.e alcatel 331 and uses a kencell line that is a kenyan tarrif.
my quetion is whenever i call it writes 'condional activated' before connecting me so how can i deactivate it {process to that please} reaply to the optional email adress

Great, inexpensive phone.
It do all the job well, it's soo inexpensive that nobody cares if it's throw on the toilet, lost, stolen, broken, fallen...
A really great phone, the signal is really good and the ringtones great.
Well, it doesn't have a datacable or IRDA to upload ringtones to the phone so the poliphonic sound are useless.

Reliable phone, good battery life, reduced size, not much fun but if you want an inexpensive phone to make phonecalls only, this one works great.

it haz nuffin on it and ya carnt change the colour of the backlight, so dat sux. and the game is nearly impossible to play. yeah so anything else? oh yeh- theres no good wallpapers or screensavers. so dont buy it.its a waste of money.

very reliable phone, the only time where i havenīt signal, was in the basement of a bank!, also very resistant... iīm gonna change mine for a Alcatel OT 557 cause i want a camera, but if you only whant the phone to talk (remember, that was the original purpose of cellphones :O ), buy it! (if itīs still available)

i got the phone today and i think is really cool... however i'm getting kindda crazy because i cant find ringtones to download, i'm from argentina and most sites dont have that country option... any suggestions?
