this phone does not really have a usb port because i have this phone and it appears not to have it

I'm really happy with this phone. Almost everything is good: the camera, the sound, the keys, the screen, the price. Right now i have 184 sms and 175 photos saved, 2MB is enough for me. Alcatel is not a well-known name, but this phone is as good as the others!

I'm going to buy it too. On the 3rd of november. For 70 EUROS. The alcatel OT565. but 2 mb, of what do I have to think then? storing photo's is that : 10, 20 etc. photos stored

Actually mine is just a question. I recently bought the new alcatel 565. Its a great phone for me to have i mean its got beautiful features and all that and the camera images are so so clear. My only problem is that I am unable to change the message alert tone. Does it come fixed to one tone, if not how can i change it to something i like. The manual came with languages that I dont understand! I was hoping it to have an english version as well. please help me, anyone. I live in Kenya

The phone doesn't have an usb port. You can connect it to a pc by infrared (Like a tv remote control) You'll need an IrDa adapter which probably will be connected to an usb port.

I like my new telephone but think it's strange that the software included (PC Sofware suite 3) doesn't let you copy java games.
At the site below you can download an addon (JavaLoader) that will enable you to download them.

It will give an error message. (Something about wrong version of PC Software suite.) If you edit the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Alcatel\One Touch PC Suite 3\Content Manager
and set the version to 3.34 it will run.

yes I can help u with infrared port! first u must install the phone like Alcatel OT565 in windows not like Standard IR modem, then u can install Alcatel Pc-suite 3 is the only that works with OT565

Can anyone help me? I downloaded the PCSuite from Alcatel webpage, I tried to run the setup.exe, but the phone does not connect through the infrared port, and the setup does not run. The infrared port of the PC works OK with other phones.
