you need to check your messageing settings.
that's all it can be.
if you have unlocked the phone and are using
a different network,you need to change the
message profile/settings.
usually the new network will send settings
automatically.

so far with this phone it needs and total upgrade if they cant put out 1 this is the wost phone ever built in history

It has good features like facebook and wifi. The battery is good but sometimes the screen freezes.

I like the phone design and interface, but I needed to borrow a stencil since the screen sensitivity is very bad. What's more, there is no accelerometer to use landscape mode in typing. Without a stencil, it would make typing almost inaccurate because of the low screen sensitivity.

The good things I can see on this phone are:
-has LED flash (for camera only, not video)
-has Wi-fi
-loudspeaker sound is crisp and loud
-music player has equalizer

Other than those, other features are not so good.
Sound/Voice Recorder has two formats (AMR & WAV), but choosing high quality even for WAV will only give a low bit rate 64 kbps with a very low sampling rate of 16 kHz. No wonder the recording sounds too soft even in high volume.

But the phone is not android, so you would expect less from this phone. At least it has wi-fi, the best feature on this phone. But how can you enjoy using the phone if the screen sensitivity is very bad? You need to repeat pressing the buttons in QWERTY or alphanumeric mode, but it would either not press at all, or it would press another button beside it. With this kind of sensitivity, it would take several minutes just to type a short phrase. Annoying. The phone has good design, but its internal qualities make it dated. A phone with a bad and inaccurate screen sensitivity would have been good sometime in 2006, but not now.

Sorry, Alcatel OT-720, but I'm trying to like you each time I use you....

This phone is gr8,easy to use no problem with the touch screen,dual sim,good quality phone with lots of options,wud defo recommend,good buy

The screen sensitivity is so bad this device is unusable, wi fi forget it! You spend ages just typing in your settings. 5 years ago it would have been a bargain, you're better buying a standard phone with keypad. Total junk

b) does not have fast enough connection for video or audio streaming
