Hey i downloaded the PC suite for my OT735 but when i go to transfer a file from PC to my phone it says an alcatel phone has been detected but is not supported by the PC suuite version. I have PC Suite version 2.20. Anyone know what might be happening ??

I use it for 6 month now and it's still great ! Works fine, reliable, easy to use... of course the photo quality could be better but it's a gadget... not so important !

I has just bought my new alcatel OT735 about one week a go.I think alcatel OT735 is the best mobile phone ever.But I kept thinking why all people around me said Alcatel model is the most bad mobile phone to use.I'm very happy with my Alcatel OT735 except the ringtones..hehehe

Sarah - No need for cables, IR can be used to transfer your pictures to pc
Donna - Go to customize, then ring tones, then mode, then set the value to silence

im lookin to buy this phone and use it to take pictures and download them onto my pc and was wondering if this infrared would let me do this or if i would need to buy a cable to do this, ur help is very much appreciated, thanks for ur time, Sarah

The Alcatel OT 735 is the best phones than nokia. I like the sound great has 24 cords,Mp3 can be ringtones too.the color good like nokia thay are liar. So go and buy now

Hi there please check that you have set you infrared spead to 38400 in the device manager on windows, then communication with the 735 should be fine, its working fine for me, plus i have to say how much i love this phone, the best ive had , its just i wish the infrared worked with other phones not just the pc!

hello everyone, I have a problem in using Alcatel OT 735. When I use infrared to communicate my cell phone and computer, The Alcatel Software showed some message as followed.. "Chceking Alcatel One Touch modem...OK
Checking communication with the phone ... failed !!! "
But I am sure that I already turn on the infrared... May somebody help me plz...

I tried, it doesn't work, the manufacturer blocked cellphone-cellphone connection in every Alcatel (535, 715 as well, hope they won't do it in future models). Ok, not fully blocked, you can send/receive calendar or directory entries. I've tried it with a Nokia 8310, and it worked perfectly. But who the hell'd need that??? The pc-suite is easy-to use, but it's not avaliable in every language. It should work as a GPRS modem via inrfa-red port also witc a PC or PDA, I haven't tried it, I have better internet connection than GPRS, but from what I heared, it works OK also. Anyway, if you haven't bought it yet, I recommend you to try one before you buy to see if you like it or not. Here you can try any model in the service provider's GSM shops, I don't know how is it works where you live. But asking is free.. :) Also read that page from shooting to connecting.
