Thanks Callista, but have U try bout the infra red for downloading picture/photos/ringtone from another cellphone? So it just for connecting to PC, too bad. How bout the other function, are they OK and easy to operate ?

I'm not Diamondus, but I hope I'll be ok for you. :) You can set that it should store in the SIM card or in the phone's memory. It can store about 100 sms in the memory. No, you can't download pictures/photos or ringtones from another phone via infra red port. Just from/to the computer with the pc suite. That's my biggest problem with 735.

Diamondus, How bout the SMS storage in OT 735? Is it depends on the SIM Card or it has another storage for SMS inbox in the Phone itself? Can we download picture/photos from another phone via infra red port ?

I don't think it's large (for example same as 3200 or Moto E365). If that fone's display is bad -I don't think, look at MC60 or any Siemens fone, or T230, those display's are bad-, than every Series 40 Nokia's display is crappy. Cus 735 is better. I don't give a *uck for the games, but they are also OK, I think.

a bit large, the shape is 'love-it-or-hate-it' (i hate it), games are horrible, the screen is poorly lit and dissapointing (with the display that large it's dissapointing for a camera phone to have only 4k color when other phones offer 65k color), but overall it's a great phone, solid build quality, can record own ringtones, love the crazy sounds, camera that zooms, and lots other 'fun' features. a real value for money.

Callista, thanks I've got an infra red cable now and all working fine. p.s. even on alcatel websites suppliers they don't have usb cables, but now no one needs them I recommend everyone to just use infrared.

i really like the alcatel one touch 735 i make pictures everyday with my phone and it's really good quellity too the pictures i mean if and it's not sow expasiv sow i should buy it if i was you

i thought this phone was a extremly boring phone, not very much features, pathetic small screen, IM NOT THAT IMPRESSED ALCATEL, U CAN DO BETTER!

Julies! You can download the pc-suite free and legal from http://www.my-onetouch.com/wor.../com/product s/phones/ot535/specs/pc/ And you won't need the cable for it, an infra-red port costs about the same (or even cheaper), you can buy one everywhere, and you can use it for loads of other stuff. IrDa-port works as a GPRS modem also. For example if you change phone, you won't need another cable, or you can use a remote control, or everything else. So I don't think anybody should buy the cable.

i really hav to say this : best fone ever!(i mean best value for money, not top high tech)
first of all, it's affordable(as some1 below said,), unlike nokias (they r rip-offs, offering real crap as screens n cams with the worst of all, 4-chord poly eg.7250). this fone was WAY better screen than most of nokias(MOST not ALL, cuz SOME new ones hav 65k), n it has pretty good camera too(works perfectly in dark conditions) 24chord poly: u can basically put ne music u want into the fone as long as u hav it in MIDI, thou the length is limited to 1 min(who wud leave their fone ringing for 1 min jst to listen to the ringtone neway??:S) the infrared works jst fine too. n to ppl who's sayin this fone is not good: this is a fone aimed at low-price range market, don come here n say this is shit compared to samsungs SE etc. cuz alcatel neva intended to make a high-end, expensive fone.
this fone is the bomb with REASONABLE price n jst as good features as top brands~ lets ppl who r not stupid enuf to waste like 500 US bux on fones hav some fun;)

yes u can brian. go to my images, select the picture u want to be your wallpaper then set it to main screen.

i just bought this phone last month, it's a very good product by alcatel i think. but now i confuse about how many message can it saved. coz it only stores about 20 messages neither in sim nor product storage. tx
