My phone can't connect to internet, although my service provider charges me when using twitter or facebook app or any website!

Only displays a screen indicating that a connection is being established, yet it never connects!

How do I upload pictures onto my pc? I connect with the usb port, but when the screen on my laptop says "device ready for use" nothing happens and i went into my computer and it's not showing It's there.
