Where can i get a vanilla rom for this phone?

It felt too lightweight and cheaply made. Trust me, I never would have thought I'd choose an Alcatel over a Samsung but there you go!

Just got one of these from O2 (Pay and Go) as a travel phone for when I visit the UK. I wasn't expecting much but it's a decent device that does everything I'll need it to while there. Call quality is good, certainly above average and data seems to move effortlessly, perhaps not as quickly as I'm used to but there you go. Can't comment on texting as they seem to get to where they're told to go and I seem to get them where they're sent to me. I have to say the screen's a bit small and sometimes while typing (gmail or text) my fingers will trip over themselves.

All in all a great little phone for the money (although I do find the UK pricey compared to other countries).

No, there is no 2.3 upgrade available (yet?). I hope they will provide upgrades in the future. Perhaps rooting the phone is always an option though. I easily connect it as needed by heimdall by turning phone off and pressing home button while connecting the USB (I found out this from a message of the upgrade suite).
But I'm not sure where to get a working ROM for it.
