Hello is there anyone that can provide some information about OTG?
Is it available? should I root the device?

alcatel your distribution is seriously,poor tha fone is out of stock in kenya for the 3rd week running and theaz nothn yuv done abt it

I also have this phone and yes, the temperature can get way too high. It is good to have an app that measures the battery temperature. If the battery gets to 45 degrees Celsius then it might be harmed.
With heavy use i have reached to 42 degrees so i check the temperature while using the phone.

I just bought this phone 1 week ago. When i heavily use the phone (Make calls, use applications,..etc.), its temperature increases, and the device becomes a little bit warm (From the bottom part, Not the Battery).
Is that normal? Or is the problem with my device in specific?

I have used this beautiful device for two weeks now. It is a very good fone, it is fast, doesn't hang , battery lasts about 36 hrs, start up is fast. The camera is excellent, it has autofocus and a powerful Flash all u need to do is change the setting to suit your preferences. If you care about value for your money, this is the device to purchase, enjoy.

Please i need to know about the quality of the sound of its Hand-free (on both making call through it or hearing music)??
is it good like HTC BeatsAudio phones ?

The phone is nice on the hand. I dont have any problem typing on it. As for the battery, its totally fine. It lasts easily more than a day with normal use.

Hi guys,
Is the phone nice to grab and how is the typing experience in horizontal position?
I got Alcatel 992D and I was not able to type on it correctly with both hands - I had to return it.

BUT it is waterproof in the way that you can put itt under the faucet with running water and the phone will be fine. There is a video of it on youtube and I have also tried it myself.

i recently bought this phone frm phone express in kisumu-kenya.My problem is that it keeps switching off at random,almost 3-4 times a day and its impossible to switch it on by the power button;i have to remove n return the battery then now the power button gets activated.Can sobdy advice since am thinking of returning it back to the shop to get a different brand!!!its annoying when a phone just switches off on its own all the time.
