I bought this a month ago, and it's been working well for me. I got the orange one. It looks expensive though it's not.

You can put any dictionary as long as it is java type or a .jar type dictionary. Those who want dictionary for any alcatel phones (the model that supports java applications) can email me at nelson_maus@yahoo.com.

where can i dowload theme and java games for this phone.. just want to ask whts the sofware of this phone???? can we put some medical dictionary on this like the ones on nokia?

hi there!!i see that you're happy of this phone. I bougth it few days ago and i can't manage to install properly driver. The phone is well connected but the software alcatel PC suite doesn't manage to establish the connection with the phone. Apparently it's coming from the usb cable driver which is not installed. My computer is an XP home version.
I am going to www.tcl-ta.com and try to download the patch for the PCsuite or even the newest version 6.2.8. but nothing.
Can somebody help to solve my problemn and start to appreciate this mobile phone!!!!

helo there just purchase this phone about a month a go just one question can we organize our music in this phone bec all i use is the starlist and playlist.. is there other way that we can make folder and name it whatever we want so that we can organize our music???

kaye, this phone supports all brand of memory card and about the color I like the color here (the Soft Touch Orange) and I want to suggest that color too. But just heed your hunch and see what color you really want

kaye, this phone does not support mini sd card. Please use micro sd for this.

it's almost 1 day already since I had my C701 phone.. It works fine! I love the orange face cover which has a rubbery feel.. :)
I only have problems with the speakers and the stereo headset.. When you close the clamshell, you won't be able to hear the music very well since the speakers are located in the earpiece! You can hear the volume at its loudest when the clamshell is opened, having the earpiece exposed.. Also, the headset is not very comfortable! They don't fit very well in my ears.. They easily come off when I move around..
So far, despite those problems I mentioned, it's working great for me! I won't be using this for a long time anyway coz' I'm waiting for the arrival of my Sony Ericsson K810! :) So I'll be giving away my C701 to my brother when I get my new K810!!

I just bought mine a while ago! it looks so great! i have the orange colored c701 and it looks expensive, even though it's not.. hehe.. :) I love it!!! i bought a 1GB microSD and it's working great.. what i love about is the mini USB port of the phone.. you can use any kind of mini usb wire to plug into your phone and charger!!!! :) if only this thing came with a 3.55mm jack port! it would awesome!!!
