Yes it does take Micro SD cards.

Yeah you can put a MicroSD card in it. Don't know what the max is but I think its 4GB since the 8GB uses a differnt type of memory.

The sound is sufficiently loud, its not like a concert no. But it is loud enough.

Phone looks nice but PC suite is worthless. It cannot be installed well on XP. So impossible to upload mp3.

this really a good phone and really can compete with the latest high end phones. err. it has everything you need. i was actually looking for a unique phone that will stand out from the crowd. i was so fed up with nokia, almost everybody is using it and anywhere you look, someone is using the same phone as yours. i should have bought this but end up with se p910i. i love se and alcatel phones better than nokia and samsung (and motorola too because it doesn't have the send to group feature).

Hello people,
can sb compare c717 and c825 briefly? I think c717 has better buttons and does not look so plastic. But from the software point of view and mp3 player is it the same as c825? It is cheaper, though!

It should be available by then... but I sadly can not guarantee it... the phone is similar to the C825... but this one is cheaper.

The phone should come to Germany soon. Check with www.protel.de for the exact date.

As for sales... Alcatel is doing better then you think, sure they could do a lot better... but they are doing fine as they are.
