Why are there two different pictures of this phone? I've unboxed alcatel c717 but it didn't look as the picture on gsmarena.Please tell me.

dr.lion, it could be possible the card is defective or that it needs formatting, insert the card and then perform a format of it.

Ok people... I got a very special question to you all. As you know Alcatel cares a lot about user feedback... and you have provided that plenty to them... and please keep doing that!
Now however I have something else for you, the future. I mean... what would you like to see in the future from our beloved Alcatel brand. I am asking you people to send me your suggestions for Alcatel and I will forward them directly to the Alcatel product development and design team. You can send me all sorts of suggestions. If you have great ideas for design... show me... if you have certain wishes for technical specifications please let me know... is there a feature you would like to see in the future, email it to me and maybe there will be a new model soon which will have it. You shall have to be realistic in your proposals though... asking for a 10 megapixel camera with 1080P HD recording for instance will not be considered serious and disregarded. Also... if you have a bright new idea which could be nice to add to a phone email it to me and it might end up being used one day.

Hello, I just bought two of these phones for my children, but they don't seem to charge anymore! First time was okee, but now (after the summer vacation, where the batteries were realy empty) they don't charge anymore!
Is there a way to get it working again?

Have this phone for 5 months and no big problems so far, camera is OK, signal/volume is pretty good, useability too (it's not tooo slow), also fits perfectly on pocket. Only complain is battery (if only could last a bit more...), and somewhat weird Java compatibility.
I've been using it with a Sagem SH1 stereo Bluetooth headset for a while... and guess what, sound quality simply ROCKS!! The music player is damn good, so easy, simple and straight to the point.
Being a Nokia user/fan for sooo long time, i must admit that this is a little nice one from Alcatel =)
BTW, max mem on this (and also C825) is 2Gb. And to put MP3s is just like you do on a USB drive, but in /Melodies/Music folder ;D
