> In reply to jorjortah @ 2009-05-17 17:40 from wc7Zyou have to bring your phone to Alcatel's service center. it happened to me too. the service center fixed something inside the phone. i believe it's normal for this handset becuase when i showed it to them, they took it with just a few explanation from me and without hesitation nor further inquiry. looks like it happens all of the time.

Been using it for about 18 months, a good one for the price but when the paint on the steel peels off looks ugly. One problem is with contact search.

hey guys, i have this fone for almost a couple of years now. 2 days ago i got this icon of an "envelope with a music note on the side" wat is that mean? i check the manual and its not even there. kinda weird... not even a voice mail. please help. tnx.

I have had this fone for almost two years and only recently got the ribbon changed (FJD$60). I find the design to be easy on the eyes, the menu user friendly and have had no problems with the battery. The paint on the cover has peeled over the years and people have noticed and ask "What the hell happened to your fone?" but I feel it gives it an antique feel. One problem I had in the beginning was that I couldn't download stuff from our local network provider (vodafone) like games and stuff, but since this phone has a universal USB port, I can download java games from the net and load it on the fone. Another thing I noticed is that no one here in Fiji sells assesories like funky covers. Otherwise, nice phone.

does the battery of this model has an expiration date?
i have a problem on this phone... i dont know what is wrong. My phone like this one is no longer be used. I wonder why. I kept on recharging it but then when it reached its full battery it suddenly shut off if i will turn it on.
i wonder if my battery has a problem because there was a date written on it but i cannot understand. it was written on chinese character then the date was witten down of those. the date was last last year. i think now that my battery was expired.
is there such expiry date on battery of this ot c825 model?
i need help here just reply answers. i will wait here.

hi all
i owned tins phone and after one week it begain to turn off itself and restart in the middel of the call..i took it to the technicans 4 times to make a software but also no way...the phone restart and turn off..what can i doooooooooooooooooooo i dont know

it has the specs of a high end phone, the style is good . but the ware and tare of this phone is in question. maybe its how you use it but base on my experience, i dont like it, the flex is the primary problem of this unit. in just 4 months im at the store filling up for repairs. bottom line, good specs and design but not that robust like other high end phones!!!! salamat !!!!!
