If you want to use your phone as a modem you will have to set up the wired or wireless connection and install the phones modem driver (included on CD). After that it should work.

Gentlemen, I did recently receive an C825, after having used a former Alcatel phone, which was great to use.

Now I would like to define several groups of people in the directorys. This is implemented different compared with my previous GSM. Anybody has a usermanual for this? e.g. I have created a "group" called "family". All of my family has their GSM, work number and home number. (corrected in the "directory). How do I associate these names in the "family directory"?

you can get Alcatel pc suite from www.tctmobile.com but the site is currently not working because they are updating it

ot-c825 user, to download games and applications, just insert the mini usb cable into your phone and the usb end to your pc then download the .jad and .jar files to your phone.

This phone does not support themes customization. You can download free games and applications for this phone in www.getjar.com. You may also opt to join http://groups.yahoo.com/group/alcatelots853
. OT S853 games and applications I have uploaded there will also run in this model.

in specification , they say that the display is
176*220 but in fact i think it smaller , u can verify that by comparing it with 7610 nokia
i'm willing to buy it because i tried alacatl phones and it has wonderful system and prices but i didn't decide yet,

i have a problem with my phone memory. i moved a file from my micro sd to the phone memory but now i cant find the file i moved in the phone memory folders. ive deleted all the file in the phone memory but the memory status still shows a 5.0 mb used. any idea how to fix this or does anyone know how to format the phone memory. tnx very much guys for the help...

How can you make the effects or theme like that one in the picture when you play a sound. Mine is different... did a buy a lemon Alcatel or firmware upgrade is needed?

No its not cancelled, the X series is a standalone usb modem with edge, umts and hsdpa.
