All alcatel models have passed the qualification test and as a result have given approval for general use by the FCC. So you don't have to worry about the SAR rating of this phone. It's safe.

It would be useful to know the SAR rating on this phone as I am considering buying it for my young Daughter. Does anyone know? Thanks.

I just got this phone a week ago. everything is straight, simple and to the point. however i've notice that i cant send messages, i have no outbox / send file either, only inbox (received messages) & cant even reply to them. does anyone know how to get this fixed? or do i just have a bad luck and got a dodgy phone from phone4u??

Is the standby time accurate as mentioned by alcatel?

Is it possible to add words to the t9 dictionary? Is it possible to have T9 on by default in a previous alcatel model of mine, you had to switch it on for each sms message.

Is it possible to select a sound settings so the phone only beeps 1 time when a call received?

well, i actually like this phone, and as a young teenager, i dont see why people have to be able to have cameras and mp3s on their phone. the main purpose of the phone is to call and text, so as long as it does that, it doesnt really matter about anything else. and theres nothing wrong with it looking good too. although i qute like the pink one. plus, its cheap so you can buy it easily.

it is a nice basic phone...no hassles on fancy functions.. Just as the other guy posted mobile phones are made as mobile phone...if you need a camera or an mp3 player...go get a real one!

Is this out already? i like its style. Whats wrong of alcatel making phones? Mobilephones are suppose to be phones for crying out loud, not music players. There is nothing wrong with just basic mobile phones.

Is easy to explain. E-Series is Alcatel's entry series : Cheap, reliable and contains only features that people actually uses most of the time. nothing wrong with that.
