I went into the Orange Shop walsall recently and spoke to Ian now Ian must be Orange Shops biggest Giggle boy and likes to be very helpful giggling all the way.
He showed me this phone in white and said it was lovely and he owned one himself much better than sony ericsson he said.
Funny enough he has even got a nice rainbow ribbon round his neck with the phone attached very fetching.
Must be a good buy (or is he just a good giggler).

Hi, I've just bought one of these basic phones for £10 at Asda. I think they are great value if you just want the basics, and yes my existing Orange sim works in it.

I want to buy this phone from Argos but before I do, does anyone know if you can remove the Orange sim card and replace it with another? I only ask because some phones have a network sim card glued in (Virgin did that) and they cant be removed.

PWBR Maybe you have not registered your sim card with your phone network as on Orange UK Network if your card is not registered with them and you have not had the sim updates from them then text message option does not show.
Otherwise im not sure.

Does anyone know if the outer front part of this phone lights up to show someone is calling in a similar fashion to the Samsung Lily.
There is very little on the net about the phone.
Thanks.

this fone is basic
there no java games or ringtones .
you will have to keep the ones built in .
theres no way to add games wallpapers ringtones /mp3 ringers to this phone .
thats why its ony £9.99 .
really its only made for basic calling and texting .
have fun .

Just bought the phone for my son, for use in an emergency! Does anyone know where to go to download games/ringtones for this particular phone?
Help would be gratefully received.
Cheers!

I bought this phone yesterday and I think it's great,it does all that I want it do,it phones & texts.Ok so it has no camera or video and it probably won't be the latest fashion accessory for teenagers but I bought a PHONE not a multimedia player!!! Lets be honest at £9.99 you can't moan really.

I had a Nokia 6280 & hardly used any functions & it was too big; this is perfect, looks elegant, fulfills the purposes of being a telephone fine! Decent keypad, entertaining flashing lights, nice to hold, if all u want is a basic phone, it's great. No camera, butI have a digital camera why would I want to take photos on a phone?
