I got the phone for christmas.It is a nice looking phone but the only problem,its ringing volume is not very loud.Other than that no problem

Hey,
can somebody help me? I bought the E256. He is really great but I tried to download a new ringtone and it didn't work. Well, I got a SMS but when I opened it there were only some very weird signs but nothing else. Is it impossible to download new ringtones? Or was it just a crappy site? Thanks!

help to turn language to english.first you press the first button on the left, then with the big button in the middle you go down in the menu till you find the image of settings, its something like a screwdriver.then you press the first button on the left to choose this and the second option you see then is the languages.hope i helped you.vss

Is there someone there can help me, i bought this phone from a russian Phone Company, but i have a problem, the menu in the phone is Russian , but i dont know how to change it to English, and the Manual is in Russian. An i cant seem to find a English manual, so can someone please help me to find a English Manual on the Net, og tell me what option number to go in to and so ? .

This is a great phone - NOT EVERYONE wants a mobile as a toy i.e camera, games etc but to make and receive calls and a good looking basic phone like this is ideal - what matters in a phone is its signal strenght and battery life - all the important things when you need your phone in case of emergency. Guess thats why they call it a phone!

it isthe best phone i have ever had who cares if it doesnt have a camera. i mean what is the point of a phone. the point is to make and recieve calls and that is what it does. i would rate this phone a big 10/10!!!

Had alcatel phone in the past, a 735 which was good, so buying the OT-E256 I thought was a good idea, WRONG!! Unfortunately I cannot even send SMS messages from this phone and WAP? there is no GPRS on my phone so cannot access Orange World (its an Orange network phone) VERY disappointed in phone as all it can do is make and receive calls and RECEIVE SMS texts!! Disgruntled buyer!!!

Hey i think this phone is a really cool design and i dont really care if it doesnt have a camera it is a cool design and when i saw it i just had to get it. Alcatel designs are very unique and i love them!

Its low end phone stupido and not everone needs camera !!!next time just think with your brain, why has not camera ! who needs camera and features go to the high end S853

what is with alcatel and making new phone wit out a camera? And really small screens? the my-ontouch 756 and 735 are cool but cum on y make a fone 2day wit out a camera and it a crappy small screen? looks cool though
