please help me to understand why when i put my memory card in phone it does not read at all keep showing errors

I have been using this phone for 17 months.Its so so so nice...WoW. My headphone is still working.I'm so mad with this phone because of its sound quality.
It costs me $50, 17 months ago.But an iPOD nano(16GB) would costs me almost $250. But sound of my alcatel is really owesome. Now i have an iPOD nano cromatic(16GB) and i think this phone is really best compared with iPoD. This is a very very basic phone with a very best music player.
I drained my battery by listening music so much and charge it twice a day :)

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-12-10 20:10 from mcuvu just nid to charge it and wait . when it is completely out of power the screen will be totally of, thats normal, if u charge and there is no charging icon on the screen thats normal, just w8 for 1 minute i think it will have enough power to show the charging icon and a couple more minutes you could turn it on again..

ive been using this phone for 4 months. Alcatel needs to improve their batteries. In fairnes i was able to use this phone for straight 3 hours before my batteries becomes empty. im now using alcatel 211 with fm radio.

so worse kind of phone..how do i enjoy downloading musics such mp3 if there is no infrared nor bluetooth nor gprs..huh..even i had mini usb for it but it doesnt worked at all.better nextime donot lunch this kind of phone!!!or else better put them like bluetooth or infra.

i love alcatel phone but this phone is making me feel mlike huhh? my screen as gone off completely and i do not know what to do about that. please if you are out there and you can help me with some advice as to how to abtian my screen back i will be really grateful, thank you very much. but note this before it went off it became very slow. pls help me trust in alcatel again , ok? bell from usa.

it was working until recently the screen went off, and i have try all i could but it is still the same, before the screen went off completely it became very slow and on switching it on, pls l will really be grateful if i can advice as to how to get it functioning properly again, thank you.

this fone is soo ugly...
its primarily a music phone but the sound quality mees lyk its commin from an fm radio player..u cant use other earphones besides the ones provided...sound tinny...battery life..OMG if u use the music player...u need be charging it every single day...display is soooooo slow! really!...n its expensive..get the motorola low end mp3 phone..its cheaper but better...
whats the deal wit alcate anyways?

There is no official 3.5 adapter, but other ones should work just fine? Some Alcatel models however came with an integrated 3.5 adapter in the volume control. You could order that? For more general info about Alcatel email me on un112@msn.com.

hello der,
Can anyone of you here pls tell me if Alcatel would or maybe be able to make a 3.5mm mini-usb adapters specifically meant only for this OT-E801 phone juz like those of the OT-C825, OT-C701, Elle No3, OT-V770 and the rest of such breeds?
Cause so far their 3.5mm mini-usb audio adapters for the headsets dont seemed to work at all with this E801. Is it possible that they would make such? and what about that optional mobile speaker accessory and arm strap they had at the back of their broshures about the E801?
I hope someone here could respond to my question. Thank you OT-E801.

Mine just recently stop recognising the usb and the charger but recognises the headset. What is the secret behind it. SOMEONE TO RESPOND...

If your PC's OS is Windows XP (please make sure that it is) insert the usb cable to the usb port and the mini usb tip to your phone. During this time your PC still cannot detect the phone but your phone must be charging. If it charging, it actually detects each other. This time activate the usb in phone's menu and your pc will detect it. It is now the time that can drag and drop mp3 files from your pc to your phone.
