From low end phone point of view, it's a great option for the end users. Features are OK for voice only phone:
1) Mini USB providing PC charge; supporting USB mass storage, with T-flash card, you can take it as a USB key; Drag and drop the music files from PC to mobilephone, without blocking by the PC suite, you can share the musics anytime with your friends.
2) Dedicated music lateral keys, you can play the music even without taking out the mobilephone from your pocket.
3)Background music player enable you to search any files in your mobilephone without interruption of enjoying your music.
4)Easy to use MMI, even my grandma can learn to use it in 5 minutes.

please dont launch this kind of phones any more.if u feel like launching phones like this-e801,before we close ur alcatel company better u it self close it. sit at home watch some good T.V.(phone advertisment)HE HEheeeeeeee ooooooooooo. dom dum dus....... i

I´ve tried an alpha version of this phone, it has MiniUSB connectivity. It`s a low end phone with MP3 player, personally, I love it. Loudspeaker (not as impressive as OT-S853, but quality OK and volume quite loud), charges through USB (also charges from the PC), soft touch cases, red keyboard lights... the player has 8 different EQ settings, balance, several rep modes. Anyway, it was an alpha, so it's uncertain wich functions will remain and wich will be added.

They have another music phone coming up. OT-C850, with bluetooth and 1.3 mp camera..higher range than this. Check it out

This is just a basic phone, there will be no bluetooth or camera but cable for connection with pc. The announced price for the phone is 149 Euros including 512Mb Memorycard...for the german market its very cheap. A low/middle class mp3 player is as expensive as this phone but with the phone you can make calls and it has a better screen

The chinese from the TA are very good at copy & paste from the other producers. Perhaps nobody will buy this phone when it will be launched ...one year from know...
