like john and the other fella, id like to know how to turn off the annoying noise it makes whenever i open and close the clamshell. I've tried the clamshell option of "off" but that doesnt seem to do anything.

You can go to voicemail by just holding down the 1 key. But how do you sync the phone to a mac, I'm trying to put my music on it, but my computer doesn't seem to pick up the phone even when its connected by USB?

Voicemail is a service provided by your network carrier and not by the phone. In order for you to listen to your voicemail you need to call your voicemail number and listen to the messages there. If the phone was bought with the card included the voicemail number should be programmed in the phone and can be accessed by pressing the "1" with a long key press. If it is not preprogrammed you need to obtain the voicemail number through your carrier.

Just bought this phone and would like to know if there is any way to turn off the really annoying sound when you open or close the clamshell.Other than this looks like a perfectly adequate bit of kit (as a phone).

The phone offers to send a multimedia message, but i can't find how to put in a photo or a mp3 to send... and i don't see the point of sending one of the preinstalled tunes with a message to somebody
