How can I update the software on the S853? And how can I check the current software version on the phone?
The Alcatel Mobile Software Upgrade program is not included in the S853.
Please help me.

After resetting .. all will work fine....

This way, just both externals make contact and the phone will understand it is a charger.
BTW any MINIUSB charger works on this phone!

ot-s853 can store 27-30 messages depending on the text file size.. so delete your old messages or save it to archives..

ot-s853 can store 120-200 sent messages depending on the text file size.. open your sent items.. it may be full..

if ever a virus file is save on the memory card...
IT WONT ACTIVATE!! the hell.. were not running windows architecture dude...
we can only find an unknown file.. the one with a questioned marked gray with a red line icon.. virus wont take effect, it can just affect our phone because its an unknown file...

guys, help me out. where can I find or buy alcatel battery here in Manila? Later this afternoon I went to Buensalida Bldg in Malate to buy a battery to my 2 alcatel phone and there is no available battery. They said that I have to go to Robinsons Ermita to inquire if there is available battery and there is no available battery. Is there an alcatel distributor here in Manila that I can easily find or go to? please help... tnx
