can you set a call in the appointments/organizer section? and can you call directly from the scheduled call-appointments, like with other alcatels, rathen than go to the contacts section? thanks a lot

Also, if you don't like the features of this phone, ALCATEL OT S680 is there to cater your needs like video and audio unlimited recording functions, touchscreen, fully working bluetooth, memory card up to 2 gb (officially but I believe it can hold up to 4 gb), and other features that the expensive phones have. OT S680 is only USD 115.00.

i bought this phone ..tried it for 3 days..here're the reasons it's the worst:
- no themes to change..the default theme is black and white..
- no video or sound recording..
- very low volume ring tones and music
- no usb cable with the package. you have to buy it
- the usb slot is covered in a way you can hardly open ..very bad
the only good thing is the very good price for those features>>> fm radio-1.3mp camera-msd memory-soundplayer-java
the guy i bought that mobile from is my friend so i talked to himand got the ot-c701 instead of that...it's much better in everything ..except the fm and 1.3mp cam

The best screens for any purpose not only for mobile phones is OLED.It's a next generation of screens with superb viewing angle and in compare with them LCD will look silly.

it is an innovative idea. i like it most, quite sporty. as alcatel die hard friend the display is much better when compared with previous models.

te be honest with you im a die hard fan of alcatel
yet my first phone that i bought wth my own money is OT 511 (FIRST POLYPHNC PHONE IN MALAYSIA IF IM NT MISTAKEN)
THEN OT 322
AND LASTLY THE OT 7531
but rather dissampointing its hard to find alcatel phone in Malaysia..thats why now im currntly using nokia "who so called connecting people" hehehe
by the way anytime in the future would alcatel came up wth phone 3G music phone at least 3mgpxl camera..micro sd card and so on..
im hoping that alcatel would came out wth a phone tht would become revolutionary
i think thats all by now

we can see it has basic features but most consumers look at battery standby. what is average battery life in days?just like nokia 1200 we are used to one week

The desing is really good, like the name, is completely sport, but I think also they must focus on the talk time and stand by time of the battery, the stand by time, if I'm not wrong is around one month

some of the alcatel brand cellphones are my favorite in looks because they are unique in style..but can alcatel improve the pixel on its camera..what i mean is make a phone that has 2 or 3 megapixels camera in it..that would be great...

the OLED screens are superb they are way better than TFT but its a shame that the screen is only 128*160 also only 65k colors
