tazim00, 03 Jun 2016My one is Android 4.3 JellyBean. Not 4.4.2 KitKat.I am having the exact same problem and it is really irritating!
Absolutely hate this tablet.
Do not get even if free
Very poor display. Glare in light is awful but also hurts eyes due to blur
Terrible memory and performance problems.
I admit I'm a heavy user but this is awful especially with bloatware sucking up memory. Makes it nearly unusable and android won't upgrade as memory out.
For beginners its a nice novelty but tbh Kindle is better for that use anyway.
The best bit tbh is it has a sturdy design and decent sound/video playback.
I love this tab its great its user friendly and battery life is great. A great piece of work well done alcatel
Got this wee tablet online just as a start off point to run alongside my Samsung Ace 2. Decided it would be good to start low and work up in quality and cost. When I got it home and started using it I was pleasantly surprised by how easily accessible the device was. The screen size is just right for reading off as its not too big and not too small.

Carphone Warehouse on the Holywood Road in EAST Belfast simply cannot keep up with demand for this device.

I was told that this tablet was taking the east by storm, and the matter of fact is that its not.. I was lied to from a sales rep with a phone company.. as well as it was just released.... pffffft as if!
I decided to make a few minor alterations to the tablet by downloading the splashtop application and fitting the device into a slightly modified "google cardboard" headset in order to make an impromptu "oculus rift" style device.
The tablet is so light and works so well with the lenses due to its surprisingly high quality screen as to make it an effective abet battery limited wireless rift alternative.
Thank you O2 for turning me on to this little device that has altered my virtual life so much
Luv the tab. kids can play there games + I can watch my football. well worth it 4 the money.
Quite sceptical to begin with as alcatel aren't as big a brand as the likes of apple and Samsung, however my mind was quickly changed upon receiving the tablet. The ease of use is second to none and the tablet is great for watching my catch up shows and keeping in touch with the grandkids via Skype. Would recommend.
Got this tablet from my provider. Wasn't sure about tablets before I got it but it's probably the best piece of technology I have in my house now. It has completely replaced my laptop
I love this tablet. Very simple to get my head around and straight forward to use.
High similarities to an IPAD. but runs off the android system, absolutely outstanding!
mine arrived last week and cannot fault it.
would recommend to anyone,
What a tablet! oh my days. Probably the best in the world in my opinion
Alcatel Pop is perfect tablet for me as I have never used one before, it is just as good as ipad and a lot cheaper! great tablet.
The tablet is absolutely fantastic and got great discount with O2 for it! Would highly recommend this tablet to anyone.
The buttons on the rear side are terrible when playing a game you have to flip it upside down if you have your headphone jack in its in the way of your hand, what happens is the volume button gets pushed down while playing hitting your lap, tryed with case on and too bulkie to play comfortably' poor design
