Alleged image of Sony’s upcoming Xperia Z4 flagship smartphone showed up in a leaked email. The latter was sent by the Sony Pictures Entertainment CEO as part of a product-placement proposal for the upcoming James Bond movie Spectre.
The email refers to the image as “the needed visuals of the new Z4 Phones.” The device in the render looks unmistakably like a Sony Xperia with a slightly tweaked aesthetic compared to the currently available Xperia Z3.
The leak points that the Xperia Z4 is planned for May/November of 2015. The handset is likely to debut at MWC next year, though past rumors have pointed at CES 2015 release.
The rumored specs of Sony Xperia Z4 include Snapdragon 810 SoC, 5.2” QHD display, 4GB of RAM, and Cat.6 LTE. The device will reportedly sport a 20.7MP camera.
