HMD has confirmed that the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for the Nokia 3 smartphone will be available this month. The news came in the form of a tweet from the company's Chief Product Officer who said the roll out will begin towards August end.
While an exact date wasn't revealed, the executive made it clear that the roll out will be global as it'll only begin after they have all market-specific approvals.

Looks like it is a good promise. But we should not keep our expectations high because doesn't mean that every single or twice a month will be regular latest updates.There may be a time where the timing new updates will be delay depends on any critici...
This is a serious commitment to fast updates that's hardly seen with smartphone manufacturers. I really hope HMD /Nokia keeps this going long enough for the others to pick up the trend.
