I really want something that I can control my TV and audio system with. I read this article about a product called BitWise, has anyone heard of it? ... http://bit.ly/e9Lo0q
[deleted post]Also, just as something to think about. There was a lot of arguments between PS3 and XBox 360 fanboys as well and still there is till today.
However, a simple question, if you were a Halo fan, which console would you buy? Similarly, what if you were a Gran Turismo fan? Lastly, if you were a huge Mario fan, the whole PS3/Xbox360 argument becomes irrelevant.
The point is, specs is one thing, but content is also just as important. So yup, the App Store is also a very important factor in deciding which tablet to buy.
[deleted post]He was not reporting you for your opinion, but rather misplaced facts. The RAM is what most of the high end tablets even in Android are using. HDMI is available with an adapter, and video mirroring supports 1080 HD.
Only thing that maybe was acceptable was the camera statement, as this is below what competitors are offering.
Flash support is a 50:50 proposition, as yes, the feature is not available, but at the same time it is now being proven to carry tremendous costs as well by having it as a feature, security and performance wise.
Lastly, the real insult to tech geeks everywhere is you actually recommending Playbook over this. I could actually accept a Xoom or Galaxy Tab, but the Playbook? No wonder you were reported for trolling. Oh and I reported you as well.
We just should not compare iPad to laptop. It is different portability. iPad is easier to carry everywhere you go. If you are able just use it. It is elegance, isn't it????
All Apple designs (either laptop, desktop, iPhone and iPad, etc.) are so cool. But I'm disappointed to see iPad 2 has only very low MP built in Camera. Why? I'm planning to but one but a bit hesitating because the low MP camera.
Limited RAM below par processor no hdmi no flash support no 1080 hd and 0.7MP Camera!? An insult to tech geeks everywhere! IPad2's savior is App World take that out of the equation and its obvious how inferior this piece of hardware is and just to keep up with competitors you have to download, upgrade and buy! Playbook with its security features is a better buy!
Go with ipad 2, i really like its feature such as garageband to mix my own music-whoaaaa-, do my own presentation on my class, play some execellent HD games, edit my own videos, etc. Its amaze my life for sure, YEAHHHHH, and yeah i dont need to install a well-known LagFix....:)
apple products r bit expensive ....
they have the monopoly to manipulate the prices of their products n others too ...so ppl buy wht is worth ...n not apple ...though i have one ...but its worth the experiance but not money
if u want USBs and other stuff
go get a Netbook or cheap laptops....
or buy bugged honeycomb tablets.
leave the iPad
xoom cant even compete with ipad 1. interms of satisifaction.
$350 vs $800 = enough + best software iOS with many good apps.
honeycomb still not even like 20 apps.
Anonymous, 14 Apr 2011I've read the specs of Apple iPad2. Its not worth it. I'd better buy Lenovo U1!!!What you get with the iPad is the user experience. There are a few articles about this online. For example, you are able to plug in your electric guitar on the iPad, and using Garageband, can mix and record music on it.
The group Ultramods have already recorded a whole album using an iPad with Garageband.
The Lenovo itself may also do things that the iPad doesn't. My point is, just looking at a specs list, and then choosing based on that, is a poor way of making a decision.
Better to look at the specs, and then also take a look at what both are able of doing, and then buy the one that suits your needs best, whether iPad of Lenovo.

Anonymous, 10 Apr 2011Mr anonymous! I want to till you I bought already samsung galaksy tab and I have also iPad2 !!... moreSo what you're saying is that if Android had developers like Apple, then Galaxy would be Aaaaaaaaaamazing-er???
Aqx, 11 Apr 2011Do IPAD 2 really have the USB port? or atleast Micro-USB portThere is no USB port on the iPad itself. You can buy the camera connector kit, which has a USB port, and an SD card port, but this is mainly to transfer photos from a camera directly into the iPad.
