Many times, i accidentally turn Off Wifi (for example). IOS is made for simplicity. It is a clean OS with better transitions and animations than Android - let's be honest. Even now it is hard for me to choose between IOS and Android. Solution? Now i use both of them:
Android - phone
IOS - Ipad Mini

PEACE.

They are optimised for the size and long battery life. Android only have giant phone UI.

Buy iPad = Pay to Enjoy. Not Pay for Specs.

Ipad Mini 2 is overpriced. Can't afford to a peaple that only have $199 salary every half of a month. Ipad mini 2 is much pretty than other brands tablets. But it is overpriced.

> In reply to Anomynous @ 2014-04-16 07:27 from Kg{K - click to readThe core experience with apple is this, so long as u buy an apple product from the store, you can expect to use it for at least 2 years without any major issues.

The OS versions moves at a pace that it support both lowest and highest hardware, so low end people will not get jealous and change.

"Then why go for the highest hardware, some might ask?". The answer is very simple;

iPad Air vs iPad 4gen => You want lighter.
iPad Mini 2 vs iPad mini 1 => You want sharper screen.
Older models are removed completely.

Plus the storage option for iPad Air/Mini2 is soo much higher, means you can put more apps. (Apps make an ipad an ipad. 100% of the time you are using apps)

You buy for the visible benefits, things you can translate to money value. Whereby in android, u buy for hardware inferred benefits, which might not have any visible benefits.

> In reply to gan @ 2014-04-05 11:44 from veNi - click to readWhat a question, the Mini 2 is vastly superior, chipset RAM display are the three huge differences, thats more than enough to justify the higher price. And go for 32GB version.

By the way, we have a visitor who have the original Mini, its not bad and "surprisingly enough" the weak processor and low RAM doesnt affect UI performance, but thats an illusion, its because iOS is made to tick along in its own pace, its made to appear relatively slow also on high end devices, it simply will not let you race through the UI like on a high end Android which has no preset pace but operates on a best effort basis.

iOS Really has a preset pace, when you swipe to the next screen you have to wait till its fully displayed before you can swipe to the next or back to the first again. This is why iPad 2 and the Mini 1 doesnt feel any slower than the Air and Mini 2. Same trick is used in Window Phone to fool people into thinking it runs smooth on low end hardware but in WP to a much bigger extent, so much that it is becoming ridiculously slow to use.

> In reply to worried @ 2014-04-14 05:19 from syty - click to readIf there is personal hotspot in settings of your iPhone 4S, then you can tether to your iPad wifi.

But i prefer just get a 4g version + multi sim. Because battery drain / trouble to tether all the time not good.. And iPad mini with 4g beats any mifi devices.. it can tether non stop 12 hrs.

Is there any possibility to connect the only-wifi version of this ipad to internet when I am outdoors where there is no wifi available? I already have iphone 4s with me. Can it work like a router for ipad if I have some cellular data plan for internet?
